UUCPA Music Program

Through music we can transform ourselves, each other, and the world.

The Music Program at UUCPA is one of our strengths. We are committed to enhancing worship. It can be a gentle way to build community within UUCPA. We akso use our music programs to reach out to the larger community and to express our values beyond the church.

Many of the classes and activities are led by lay leaders. Our Music Director,
Bruce Olstad, and the Music Committee are available to advocate for our music offerings and to support the leaders as needed. If you want to lead another activity making music at church, contact us.

Our current Music Program includes:

Adult Choir

Bruce Ohlstad directs the Choir

Music DIrector: Bruce Olstad
Accompanist: Veronika Agranov-Dafoe

The choir sings at the 11:00 a.m. Worship service on Sundays from mid-August through mid-June.
Rehearsals are Thursdays, 7:30-9:30 pm in the Main Hall.

Singers wanted! We can use singers on all parts.  You don’t need to be a sight reader if you can learn music quickly by hearing the parts.  You should be able to make your way around a vocal score. Don’t be shy, give us a try!
