Everyday Actions

South Palo Alto Food Closet
UUCPA is an original sponsor/founder of this program in Room 9 at the Covenant Presbyterian Church on East Meadow. At this time of year if you are thinking of nonperishable donations to help needy families over the Holidays, cans of soup would be most welcome as well as perhaps canned beans, chili, etc. The Closet appreciates your help with this project which provides free food weekly to needy families in our community. You can also place your food contributions in the “Food Closet” baskets in the lobby.
Recycling
UUCPA recycles discarded cell phones and empty toner and printer cartridges turned in by members and friends. Please deposit them in the collection box in front of the church office.
Support UUCPA Every Time You Search The Internet!

How many times a day do you look something up via a search engine? Wouldn’t it be great to give money to a cause you value every single time? GoodSearch has enabled us to do just that. It works like any other search engine, but allows you to put in the name of an organization you want to support. The search engine is powered by Yahoo. I havemade it my regular search engine, and I hope you’ll check it out and consider doing the same. —
